Eyes On Guantanamo

What if your government had YOU abducted and tortured? What if the Ummah turned its back on YOU? Meet two men who went through the University of Prophet Yusuf (as): incarceration and torture in Guantanamo Bay. Through them, we learn the meaning of true faith, courage, patience, and reliance on Allah alone

Join us this month as we discuss Guantanamo Bay with Mansoor Adayfi and Omar Khadr, two men who were kidnapped and detained in the prison where many Muslims were - and some still are - being held without charges in the US 'War on Terror' since the early part of the 2000s! We will aim to examine the situation, how it occurred and lessons that can be learned from this ongoing tragedy.

Men's Qur'an (Tajweed) Class

Our bi-weekly Qur'an Tajweed (Recitation) classes are continuing on the first and third Saturday of each month. The next scheduled Tajweed class will take place this Saturday, September 5th, In Sha' Allah, one hour before Maghrib.

We invite brothers, 16 and older, to join us in raising our status with the preservation and recitation of the Book of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) under the instruction of Ustadh Belaid Moa for these classes.

When: 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month
Time: 1 hour before Maghrib (7pm)
