Prayer in the style of Taizé, Victoria, BC This page exists to help people find and participate in the ecumenical prayer gatherings with songs from Taizé in Victoria, BC.

Taize is a small, ecumenical community in Burgundy, France where young people gather throughout the year to share in the daily life of prayer and community with the brothers. Please visit the website: www.taize.fr to learn more about the Taize community in France. A group of dedicated volunteers has nurtured this ecumenical, rotating prayer since 1996! Each year the prayer is hosted by three different churches throughout downtown Victoria, each for a duration of three months.

A very belated heads up, there are TWO prayers this evening (due to last Friday being Good Friday)! Please come out and join us either at:

St. John's United Church (10990 W Saanich Rd, North Saanich, BC V8L 5R9) at 7pm.

This coming Thursday and Friday you will find two different prayers with the songs of Taizé!!! Thursday's prayer is at St. Philip Anglican Church and Friday's prayer is at St. John's United Church out in North Saanich. Take a moment and experience the beauty of simplicity in this prayer.

Once again, a short notice invite. Apologies for being so late to the game. This Thursday, October 24 at 7pm come to St. Philip Anglican Church in Oak Bay, 2928 Eastdowne Road, for prayer with the songs of Taizé.

Please plan to join us Friday, October 18th at 6pm for a beautiful prayer at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church on West Saanich Road. This prayer will happen on the third Friday of November as well.
