Our Collaborative Joint Bible Study with Bethany United resumes on Monday, Oct. 05th starting at 11 am, with a Lunch to follow, from Victoria United Church. Schedule of Service for Sunday, Sept. 13th:

11 am - Service of the Word & Song

To Request Prayer or to arrange a Pastoral Home or Hospital Visit, call our Church Office at 596-2430.

A reminder that our Men’s Fellowship Harvest for Souls Church & Community Breakfast will be on Sat., Oct. 03rd at 9 am. Guest Speaker: Joshua St. George. No charge. Parishioners and members of the community may register by calling our Church Office asap, or by signing up at our Front Church Vestibule Table. Registration capped at 100. After Sept. 15th, registration will be open to those outside the church and our community. Feel free to call our Secretary to put yourself on a waiting list.

Loving God,
On this Labour Day, we give thanks for all who work to provide the things we need to live, and for the many ways that our labour contributes to the life of our communities and our world.

We give thanks for the witness of organized labour and unions, who remind us of the power of solidarity and our shared responsibility to safeguard fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity for every worker.

Bless workers with strength, safety and dignity. Bless employers and leaders with wisdom, fairness, and care. May all who have power use it to create workplaces and communities where everyone can flourish.

May our shared labour, and our commitment to justice, help bring about your vision of peace, dignity, and abundant life for all.

And remind us, O God, that in you, our labour is not in vain.
