Yesterday at the cathedral we joined with regional parishes in a celebration of confirmations presided by Bishop Anna. Our members were honoured to be with William, Roland and Julie as they were confirmed into the Anglican Church.

Happy Birthday Reverend Gail!

To celebrate Earth Day this week we assembled a crack team of gardeners to work on our grounds. This was followed by the best of Anglican traditions - a soup and bun for lunch!

Thanks to all who came out.

One more item sold. Wanted: The right buyer for the beautiful woodcarving.

We sold another item on Facebook Marketplace yesterday. On Earth Day, isn’t it good to see used items getting a new home?

On Sunday, fundraising wasn’t our focus, but we’re back with new items offered on my (Lawrence Surges’) Facebook Marketplace profile.

We’re Esquimalt’s historic naval and garrison church, and centuries before our Conacher organ crossed the Atlantic Ocean, St. Paul journeyed far and wide by land and sea. Therefore, I’d like to share with you a very special, detailed wood carving on three panels of a multi-masted square-rigged tall ship that was generously donated by one of our wonderful parishioners. If you can’t offer it a new home, do you know someone who could?
