From the Pulpit for the week of August 31st, 2026:

This Sunday’s sermon is entitled, “God’s
Masterpiece,” as we are reminded that every
human life has immeasurable value—not
because of our education, usefulness, success,
health, or achievements, but because we are
made in the image of God. Through moving
stories and Scripture, we’ll be invited to see
ourselves and one another with renewed dignity,
compassion, and grace. This sermon may help
us to see that you, and every person you meet, is
treasured by God.

From the Pulpit for the week of August 24th

This Sunday’s sermon is entitled “He Had to Go,”
as we enter into the disciple Peter’s struggle to
understand why Jesus “had to go” to Jerusalem,
even toward suffering and death. Through vivid
stories of family, faith, service, and sacrifice, we
will explore the holy urgency of doing what God
calls us to do - not because it is easy, rewarding,
or popular, but because love and faith compel us.
This sermon may help us reflect on what it
means to follow Christ when obedience becomes
a matter of the heart.

From the Pulpit for the week of August 17th, 2026:

This Sunday’s sermon is entitled “Just a Basket
in the Reeds,” as we are invited into the Exodus
story through the eyes of Pharaoh’s daughter,
asking where we fit in God’s great work of
deliverance. Rather than waiting for dramatic
moments, we are challenged to notice the “little
baskets in the reeds” already before us: small
opportunities for compassion, courage,
generosity, and faithfulness, offering to us, in our
ordinary choices, the opportunity to become part
of God’s big story.

and challenging sermon about Jesus’ parable of
treasure hidden in a field. Together we’ll reflect on
what it means to set aside caution and predictability
for the priceless adventure of God’s kingdom. Is it
possible for our faith to still surprise us and stir our
courage to move beyond our comfort zone? Come
discover the treasure Christ invites us to seek.
