Timeless Tunes

Community Cemetery Cleanup Morning

This month's Cemetery Cleanup will be held on Saturday, June 13th, from 9 am to 11:30 am. Everyone welcome!

Please bring gloves and, if possible, tools such as clippers, scrapers, rakes, or outdoor brooms. Many hands make light work!

Silver and Sage 55+ Social Group - Summer Sessions

Silver and Sage is a social group for seniors 55+ from any background or walk of life. Meetings are held twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

Whether you want to learn, to connect with others in a vibrant community, or simply laugh, this gathering is designed to offer you something. We offer focussed and informative discussions on diverse topics, entertainment, art, music, and relaxing coffee-&-chat time.

Amazing Journey Day Camp 2026
Unlocking God's Promises
July 6 - 10, 2026
Lutheran Church of the Cross

The theme for this year's Amazing Journey Day Camp is Unlocking God's Promises. The Camp will be held July 6th to July 10th, in the mornings, 9 am to noon at Lutheran Church of the Cross.

Children born January 1, 2015 to June 30, 2022 are eligible to be campers. Children with special needs may attend with an assistant.

Registration final deadline is June 21st.

A Piano Fundraising Concert

Downtown Garden Party and Fashion Show
with a Strawberry Tea and Estate Sale

3180 Norfolk Road

Join in the fun with a “Fashions of Downton” Show, a Tea with strawberry shortcake, and even a Downton Estate sale! Located in the Turnhams’ beautiful garden at 3180 Norfolk Rd (off Lansdowne).

If rain is forecast, we will relocate to St. Luke’s Community Hall.

Garden hats and fascinators will be for sale. Wear your sunscreen! Tickets are $25 and can be reserved by e-mailing [email protected].
