*WHEN MARRIAGE IS A MISTAKE*

Most times when a *marriage is in trouble* , people tend to see their Marriage as a *mistake* rather than seeing the *mistakes they are making* in their marriage. At this point they *regret marrying their wife or husband, begin to think of a new partner, imagine marrying their ex or fantasizing a marriage without issues.*

Some even divorce or remarry and later wish they had *remained* with their first Spouse, as they find greater trouble in the new spouse. This is because *the first marriage was not a mistake,* and the mistake has not been *discovered yet.*

So you can remarry as many times as you like, you will still experience problems in marriage until *you discover the mistakes you are making in your marriage and correct them.*

So divorce or separation is not a solution to consider when you are having problems with your marriage.

When your car has a flat tyre, you do not abandon it, but change the tyre and move on.

When we have a headache, no matter how excruciating, we do not cut off the head but take care of the headache.

When a bulb blows out in the room we do not change the room or the house, we replace the bulb and light up the room.

When we have challenges at work, we do not refuse to go to work, we go there to solve the problems.

So when marriage has an issue, we don't have to try to change the spouse instead of changing the *attitude* that is creating the problem.

Most times when we see some couples enjoying their marriages and enjoying each other to the fullest, we admire and cherish them, but the opposite is seen in our own marriage. The reason is that some people have worked on their marriage *by paying the necessary price* and that is why they are enjoying the fruits of their labour. It is said, “The way you make your bed is the way you will lie on it”.

Your marriage is as *good* or as *sweet* as you make it. Some couples, because of the *negative things* they are seeing in their marriage, accuse each other of being responsible. They point accusing fingers at each other for being responsible. Some even say many bad things about their spouse, even *calling him or her names;* some think that marrying that man or that woman was a mistake.

*It is not so, your marriage was not a mistake,* *but you are the mistake.*

Your *habit* is the mistake
Your *character* is the mistake
Your *manner, anger, unforgiveness, laziness, lack of love, lack of affection, lack of attention, impatience, bitterness, selfishness, ignorance, stinginess, not being considerate, infidelity and lovelessness are the mistakes.*

Talking about bitterness. Some still dream of a marriage with their ex seeing your spouse as a stumbling block. *Wake up* to the smell of coffee. Be *content* with your spouse. That *behavior* is your mistake.

So *get up now* and *build your marriage* because it is not a mistake.
*Divorce or separation* are never options.

There always comes a time when you must carry out a critical review and assessment of your life to determine if peradventure you have strayed from the path of your God ordained purpose.this is important because living life outside of God's purpose is a sure way to an unfulfilled life .since nobody wants to end up unfulfilled in life,it is therefore crucial that at every interval on our journey , we stop and take a look at how far we have come,especially all we passed through to arrive at where we are today.if for nothing,but to measure our success and failure and to look ahead at the ground that still needs to be covered.it is hard for a man with purpose and direction to get lost on the journey of life .so put yourself on the scale and measure your life up till today.are you there yet?if not,how far do you still have to go? What else do you have to do?it us left for you. It is your decision .make it today!

Good morning everybody. Proverb 4.7...wisdom is the principal thing.therefore get wisdom.and in all your getting,get understanding............. Brothers and sisters your life cannot go beyond your level of understanding because wisdom is light. As far as your eyes can see in the light, only so far can you go in life.so pursue knowledge and run after understanding. Treasure them.seek them.they will lift you up to higher ground.because in reality,we are not different from each other.the only difference between us is wisdom and understanding.life is not a joke.the gospel is not a comedy.what sets some men apart is what they carry. Success and greatness is totally a function of wisdom and understanding,not mediocrity. The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall abide in the congregation of the dead.proverb 21.16

The secret of the lord is with them that fear Him;and He will shew them His covenant.psalms25:14.
The bible also says the ''fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom''
what is the fear of GOD? Does the presence of God invoke fear instead of fullness of joy? Has he given us the spirit of fear? Is he like our earthly father or school teacher? No. God is far more than all of that. Because we wake up everyday to behold sin. We are sinners.in the office we sin, in the traffic we sin,everywhere sin pervades. If God were to flog us according to the number of our sins everyday, who will stand?
His sun still shines and his rain still fall on us,we enjoy the seasides and the moon still lights our nights.so, what is the fear of God?

The fear of God is the love of God.the totality of God is centered around Love.God is love.with God,love comes before fear.because you cannot fear Him if you never loved Him.
It is when you love God that you are attracted to His word. The more you keep digging into His word, the more His love keeps expanding and taking root in your heart and thereby,spiritual growth start to come as the knowledge of God is being revealed to you. Then you start to understand God,and He keeps revealing Himself to you for as long as you are grounded in His love.
The more you get to know Him, the more you begin to see His true nature,the awesomeness of His personality, the Greatness of His power, then you start to fear when you realize the kind of God you serve. You start to understand His secrets.

And then out of the abundance of the love of God,he sent us Jesus Christ;the second Adam.
Bear in mind that death came through the first Adam,but life,abundant life came from the second Adam.it is not becos Jesus was not tempted like Adam was tempted through eve,it is becos God played a trump card.there was no woman.Jesus Christ did not get married,not becos there was no woman to marry,but becos the marriage would have been dead on arrival.
After fasting forty days and forty nights,the same serpent the devil came to Jesus Christ and tempted him in many ways just like he did eve, but God cannot be tempted. Praise the lord.

God commanded the man specifically that all these trees you can eat of their fruits,but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,thou shall not eat of it,for in the day you eat of it thou shall die.this death is called judgement.the knowledge of good and evil gave birth to sin,sin brings judgement, for the wages of sin is death.
However,the bible says by one man death came.this means death came when Adam ate the fruit which eve brought to him.he fell and died, and the world has has not recovered from the effects of the knowledge of good and evil. God did not create death,rather death is a byproduct of sin.the reason there is no death in heaven is becos there is no sin there.so man died;first Adam.

The serpent did not deceive both Adam and eve to eat the forbidden fruit. It only deceived eve alone, and this happened when she was roaming about in the garden.it is critical to note that this is what caused the fall of man.for man could not have fallen were it not that he was created with a woman.the serpent could have met the man and deceived him,but it was impossible,in as much man was created in the image of God, he cannot be deceived.
the serpent decided on eve because,she is woman,the weaker vessel.the plan was well strategized so much that the serpent had to wait for a time to catch the woman alone.because devil couldn't have been able to convince both Adam and eve to eat the fruit.the serpent went to the woman in a calculated move.now,the woman ate the fruit,her eyes were not opened,until the man did so too.this is becos the instruction was not given to the woman,but to the man.

life starts to have meaning when you begin to look at it from the perspective of love.raise your head up and look,you will see there many years ahead of you,and as days are passing by,we are getting closer to the grave side,is it not wisdom to get as much love as we can get from our days before we pass away? is everything else not pains and struggles of life?

Life cannot give up on you until you have given up on yourself,no matter the bricks situations have thrown at you. Fire outbreak due to electrical faults engulfed my business and burnt everything i had down the very week my wife delivered our son after losing two to stillbirth.the condition wanted to put me down,but i refused to put my down to be put down.i remained strong in my spirit man from where i gained strength of encouragement to start all over again. I sought the help of friends and family, most of them let me down.i realized no man can help me as much as i can help myself. My house rent expired,and other expenses crept up,i became seriously sick.in everything i never lost my faith and hope that all will be well.i picked myself from my sickbed, started a communications outfit, published a book, started consulting and gradually,the lines started falling into pleasant places.when the spirit in down,the body can go all miles. Never give on yourself.
