Several people asked, "Where did the amazing intercessions used at last night's Prayers for Peace with Songs from Taize come from?" They're part of the 2026 Celebration Guide for Season of Creation : download the full text here: https://seasonofcreation.org/ We used the first set of intercessory prayers, with the response, "Where water flows, Lord, let everything live, trees for food and leaves for healing."

The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment together.

🌊 This Sunday we’re heading to the beach!

Join us Sunday, August 30 at 9:30 AM for Eucharist on Willows Beach. It will be a simple outdoor service with acoustic music, Holy Communion, and (hopefully!) some beautiful late summer weather. ☀️🎶

Everyone is welcome. Bring something comfortable to sit on and come a little early if you can, as parking at Willows Beach can fill up quickly.

A reminder that St Philip's 9.30 Eucharist service on Sunday 30 August will be held at, and on, Willows Beach. We will meet on the beach by the Kiwanis Tearoom - handy for the parking lot and washrooms. Music and speaking will be acoustic only, no amplification is permitted.

There will be a service of Holy Communion in church at 8am as usual.
