Welcome to the Modest Wear Thrift Pop-Up!

This pop-up thrift sale is for anyone seeking modest wear, from tunic sets to dresses, hijabs and abayas, and much more! Everyone is welcome to sell or buy (or both!). Proceeds from the sale will go towards the Victoria Masjid Project.

Vendor information:
$50 early bird if you sign up by May 5th
$75 after May 5th

Cut-off for vendors is May 10.

Some non-clothing items allowed (e.g. some home decor, Islamic decor, accessories etc.).

All vendors responsible for taking back their own unsold items.

COMMUNITY DONATIONS FOR THRIFT SALE:

- All items must be in good quality, meaning gently used or new. NO unwashed items, dirty items etc.
- If you donate something to the thrift sale but ARE NOT A VENDOR, note that any unsold items will be donated through other venues.
- Limit of ONE MEDIUM BAG donation per family
- Donations to be dropped off at Dar al-Ihsan Islamic Center (2504 Government Street) by May 9th

Last weekend we had the honour of fundraising in Edmonton, Alberta. Alhamdulillah, through the generosity of the community, we raised over $20,000. Even more importantly than the funds raised, we were shown the true meaning of brotherhood/sisterhood from the community in Edmonton, and especially those from Al-Sunnah Institute. They assisted us as if this was their own project even though we came from another city and expended all their efforts to make the fundraising a success. There is no amount of thanks that would be enough to give them.

We ask Allah to accept from all those who gave in any way, big or small, to bless the brothers and sisters who made the fundraising a success, the reward them with the best in this life and the hereafter, to compensate them with better than they gave, to grant them the utmost success, and to increase them in their Iman, sincerity, and humbleness.
