Happy Monday, Lifetree!

There’s something special about these last few days of summer — soaking up the slower moments while also beginning to look ahead to fresh routines, new rhythms, and all that a new season will hold.

As we step into the week ahead, may we keep choosing what matters most — pursuing God, loving people well, and trusting Him with what’s ahead.

“ Whoever pursues righteousness and love, finds life, prosperity, and honour.”

Such a beautiful night of worship, prayer, and seeking God together for His direction for Lifetree Church. So grateful for this community and excited for all that God has ahead!

SABBATH — SESSION 4:WORSHIP

This week we wrapped up our four-part Practicing the Way Sabbath series with Worship.

Sabbath is more than stopping our work, finding rest, or making room for delight. Ultimately, it is a day set apart for God — a weekly rhythm that turns our attention back to Him.

As we intentionally make space to worship, remember His goodness, and enjoy His presence, something begins to shift beyond just one day. A weekly rhythm of worship helps cultivate a life of worship.

Stop. Rest. Delight. Worship.

May these rhythms continue to shape us as we grow closer to Jesus.

SABBATH — SESSION 3:DELIGHT

This week we explored Sabbath as delight.

Not a day of religious duty, but a life-giving invitation to enjoy God, His world, and the people He has given us. A day to feast, laugh, gather, play, rest and make room for the things that bring us joy.

Stop. Rest. Delight.
One more week to go as we finish our Sabbath series with Worship.

FAITH EXPLORERS CAMP STARTS TODAY!

Our Faith Explorers Camp kicks off this morning, and we’d love for our Lifetree community to be praying with us throughout the week!

Pray that every child who comes would have an incredible week filled with fun, laughter, friendship and encouragement — and most of all, that they would experience just how deeply they are known and loved by Jesus.

And a HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers who are giving their time, energy and hearts to make this week happen. We are so grateful for each of you!

Last Sunday we continued our Practicing the Way series on Sabbath:

Stop. Rest. Delight. Worship.

Session 2 invited us to rethink rest. Sabbath isn’t simply sleeping or taking a day off—it’s a form of resistance.

We resist hurry, striving, productivity and the feeling that everything depends on us—and choose instead to rest in the goodness and provision of God.

What might you need to resist in order to truly rest?
