“You're seeking validation from a world that crucified a perfect Man.”

Think about that for a moment. Jesus Christ never sinned. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and loved the outcast, and the world still cried, "Crucify Him!"

If the world rejected Him, why are we so desperate for its approval?

Stop chasing likes, applause, and acceptance from a world that will never be satisfied. Seek the approval of the One whose opinion truly matters.

📖 "For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." (Galatians 1:10)

📖 "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." (John 15:18)

Live for an audience of One. 🙏

It is hard to give thanks in April for a harvest that would not be ploughed until October. From April to October a lot hard work needs to be done before harvest.

At the end of his life, the Apostle Paul could look back with thanksgiving instead of regret: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." (II Timothy 4:7)

This Thanksgiving Sunday, join us as Pastor Richard brings a message from II Timothy 4:6-8: "The Hard Work of Thanksgiving." How do we live now so that we can look back with gratitude later?
