The Alpine Centre Bookstore is the best! They sell donated books, CD's, DVD's, puzzles and other items to then donate to local charities! We are so grateful for the generous support of our community! 📚

Instead of handing out pre-packed boxes, this new space gives people the opportunity to come in and actually shop for the specific items their family needs to supplement their groceries at home.

The food bank didn’t just help her pay the bills. It helped change the direction of her life.
When Tannis was falling behind as a single mom, the support she received from the Salvation Army Vernon Community Food Bank gave her the breathing room she needed. She caught up on bills. Went back to school. Completed a diploma. Started a new career.

Today, she volunteers two to three days a week at the Food Bank.

What once helped her through a hard season is now something she proudly gives back to.

Sometimes a little support makes all the difference.
