Today marks 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. As we remember the lives lost and the families forever changed, we also hold in memory a profound witness of grace.

When U.S. airspace closed, communities across Canada—from Gander and Halifax to Vancouver and Yellowknife—opened their schools, their homes and their churches to tens of thousands of stranded travellers. In a moment of deep darkness, they lived out Christ's call to love our neighbours and welcome the stranger.

Today, we pray for continued healing, lasting peace and that we may all carry forward that same spirit of hospitality and compassion in our world.

Celebrating the Season of Creation- many members of the congregation brought water from their favourite source to add the font. There was water from one end of the country to the other. Even a sample from the River of Jordan.

After worship, we enjoyed a potluck lunch with great fellowship - celebrating all the September birthdays & anniversaries.
