Pierre Mousseau is part of our Grief Ministry. He has just published a book about his journey through the devastating sudden loss of his son, Parker, and the years of painful and destructive response to this loss.
This book is raw, painful and yet also filled with great moments of acceptance, hope and redemption.

As Co-founder of the Side by Side Grief support Ministry, I'd like to introduce to you several published book that have been written by two of our members.
The first is a book called "Beyond the Dreams". It is a fictional account of real life events that the author had after the death of her husband, Reno, and her dreams that came to her to give her so much comfort.

And although she struggled with her devasting grief that led to clinical depression, and other health issues, she was able, with the support of family and friends and her support ministry to rise up, get her health back and even find love again.

The second book,"From the Ashes" is the true account of a father who lost his 20 year old son, Parker, after a routine operation.
It is the painful journey of a devoted, loving father trying to manuvere through his new world without his son.
It is raw and painful but, it is also a love story of resilence, healing and a return to his childhood Church where he found a new relationship with God through his new found Faith.

Advent begins, Christmas is coming
The tree, presents, gatherings, decorations, Christmas carols, dinners and on and on and on
It can be suffocating, terrifying
It can feel like we will be just swallowed up and lost
But we know better
It’s a lot to face but it’s not too much
Because we have something, someone, to hold onto
Someone real and true
Someone close and personal
Someone who is there when we call out his name
Someone who is there in and with us, his people
We are family
We are love
We are one in him
And we will not fear
And we will not quit
And we will stand together
And we will join hands, and join hearts and sing and pray together
We will remember, we will say their names, we will never forget them, we will carry them
We will hold our candles in love and honor
And we will cry and miss them
And we will build and grow
And we will live
And we will laugh
And we will believe
Christmas is coming
And our broken hearts are filling with the joy of his presence
Christmas is coming
