This past Sunday, the Parish of LOV celebrated the 180th anniversary of Holy Trinity in Hawkesbury.The Rt. Rev. Kathryn Otley, Bishop of the Diocese, presided over the special anniversary service with the assistance of the Rev. Felix.

During the service, the Bishop performed the Rite of Confirmation for several candidates, administered the Rite of Reception for Ray Seguin, and offered a special blessing for the church building in honour of its historic milestone. Bishop Otley also officially dedicated and named the church's upper hall.

Following the service, a delicious BBQ chicken luncheon was served in the lower hall, beautifully supported by the Hawkesbury Rotary Club.

This coming Sunday, August 30th is the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost. There will be one combined service at Holy Trinity in Hawkesbury to celebrate their 180th anniversary. The service will be presided over by Reverend Felix Longdon and The Rt Rev Kathryn Otley.

We have an 11:00 o’clock service this coming Sunday, August 11th.at St.John’s in Vankleek Hill. Rev.Felix will be our priest for this service.
Join us for the service and refreshments in the hall following the service.
If you would like to bring something for the food table, please do so.

An impromptu gathering at Dairy Queen in Hawkesbury brought members of the Parish of LOV together to celebrate the first anniversary of Rev. Felix and his family joining our parish community. It was a wonderful opportunity to share fellowship, laughter, and gratitude as we marked this special milestone together.
Sorry for the late notice and missed emails to those who missed out. Same time next year though. lol
