Carleton Gospel Hall Spreading excellent news to everyone, because of Jesus Christ.

Our roots in this area go all the way back to 1932 when we started as a Sunday School located on Kingsway. In 1953 we moved to our current location at 45th and Tyne and in 1966 began fully functioning as a church with weekly worship and gospel services. We continue to this day as a group of Christians from the area who simply try to follow what the Bible says and apply it to our lives and to how w

e function together. We model ourselves after what the Bible teaches us about the New Testament Church, and try to follow its pattern and simplicity.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

On the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in gleaming clothing; and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them,
“Why are you seeking the living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.”
(Luke 24:1-7)

Today is a Good Friday!

[Jesus] Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

It was our sicknesses that [Jesus] Himself bore, and our pains that He carried;
Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, struck down by God, and humiliated.
But He was pierced for our offences, He was crushed for our wrongdoings;
The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.
All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the Lord has caused the wrongdoing of us all to fall on Him. (Isaiah 53:4-6)

Tomorrow night is the last day of our Carleton Kids Bible Camp which is our carnival! We’ll have a Bible message, lots of yummy food, and fun games, including a DUNK TANK! Join us at 6:30 for a great night.
