At Pacific Spirit we are holding space for conversations that matter. Conversations about life, and death, and what it means to lead a ‘good life’ in a complex time. At Pacific Spirit, faith and intellect are not in conflict, and we believe God welcomes questions. But we’re not just about conversations! In response to God’s love for community and creation we seek to identify areas of service and t

o make a difference in the world. We value the energy and wisdom of children and the elders and everyone in between. Through grappling with faith, engagement with community, and encounters with the sacred through the arts, Pacific Spirit offers rich opportunities to grow in relationship with the Holy Other. All Sunday services offer signing and special earphones for the hearing impaired and the buildings are wheelchair accessible. Usually sermons are printed for the hearing impaired and those who are learning English as a second language.

Please join the members of the Affirming Ministry Committee at the service and then for some delicious pie over at the Memorial Centre after church. Join us for the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah, with the Pacific Spirit Chamber Choir, Daeyong Ra, trumpet, and Danielle Lee, organ.

Come one, come all — and bring a friend to sing along!

Rehearsal: Easter morning at 9:15 a.m. in the church.

Remembrance Sunday Service - November 9th, 2025

Join us for a special Remembrance Sunday Service at 10:00 a.m. featuring guest conductor Rupert Lang and the Chamber Choir of Pacific Spirit United Church.

The service will include Lang’s acclaimed Remembrance Day choral masterpiece, The Kontakion, along with other special music to honour those who have served and to reflect on the call to peace.

All are welcome!

Looks like it will be rainy this Saturday and the Fall Fair will be a warm place to be!

There will be hot drinks, baked goods and chilli at the concession. Enjoy the sounds of our Jazz Trio. There will also be a good selection of books for sale and handcrafted items. While you do your shopping there is children’s area with story time and crafts.

See you on Saturday rain or shine from 10-2!
