Greetings:

This is Elder and Sister Arnett from Springville, Utah (next door to Provo). Our 18-month Senior Mission Call is an assignment to teach Institute classes for Young Single Adults in Langley and Abbotsford and attend the Fraser Valley YSA branch. We also cook and provide dinner before each class. We are really glad to be here on a mission with the YSAs. It’s been fun.

With summer ending, now is a great time for you to check out Institute. Please come and bring your friends (active, less active, non-member) to the Institute WOW BBQ (WOW–Welcome Out Week). There are two options 1) Langley YSA Building on Wed. 3 Sept. and 2) Abbotsford Stake Center on Thurs. 4 Sept. Both events will start at 6 pm. (see flier for addresses)

While enjoying food at the WOW BBQ, we hope you will meet and hang out with new YSA friends and also learn about the Institute classes selected by the YSAs starting the following week.

Wednesdays - Langley Institute @ the Fraser Valley YSA building – These discussions will be led alternating weeks by the wonderful Br. and Sister Niesner of the Willoughby ward and the Arnetts. The first few weeks from Sep. 10th to Dec. 17th will introduce tools to help find the answers to your questions about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church. The later weeks will be seeking answers for questions selected by the attendees. Check out the weblink Answering My Gospel Questions for more info.

Thursdays – Abbotsford @ the Abbotsford Stake Center – Using the book The Divine Gift of Forgiveness by Elder Neil L. Anderson we will be seeking greater understanding of God’s love for each of us which could help you strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. Check out the weblink The Divine Gift of Forgiveness for more info. Abbotsford Institute will be Sept. 11th to Dec. 18th.

At both locations, Institute starts at 7 pm following a dinner served at 6:15 pm.
