This Sunday, June 7 is the Second Sunday after Pentecost in Ordinary Time and we will be gathering for worship at St. David of Wales at 3pm. We will continue our teaching theme, "A New Exodus," based on the Sermon on the Mount. This week's topic is "The Currency of Heaven," from our text, Matthew 6:19-34, and we will observe intergenerational communion together. This is also Food Pantry and Benevolence Sunday. Kids: Age-appropriate activity boxes will be available, and the sacristy has been prepared as a supervised play area with a video/audio feed of the sermon.

FIFA Parking restrictions go into effect this Sunday up to the end of July, impacting some streets around the church. Watch for signs, and use the church parking lot if unsure. Don't forget to fill out your camp survey!

This Sunday, May 24 is Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of the Church! We will gather at 3pm in the large Montessori room on the ground floor of St. David's for a community meal planned and prepared by Gord and Carol! This will include additional vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options. We are so grateful to them and want to provide lots of help! Please click link below to sign up to help. We still need lots of help with cleanup (at 4:30). Note: If you are unable to access the google doc, please email [email protected]. We look forward to celebrating the arrival of Pentecost and some rich table time together.
Note: A free play area for kids is adjacent to this room. We will begin with a brief time of reflection on Pentecost and prayer and enjoy a meal together.

This Sunday, April 5 is Easter Sunday and we will celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and our VEV 37th Anniversary! We will gather at 3pm at St. David of Wales for intergenerational worship and teaching (yes, there will be trivia!) followed by a shared meal in the Lower Hall at 4pm (yes, there will be more trivia!). As mentioned earlier this week, Gord and Carol have offered to be the point persons for our monthly community meals. This Sunday, they are cooking a ham and mashed potatoes with vegan and gluten free options and you are invited to sign up for something that will complement that and for help with set up and cleanup. Don't forget to bring some dishes with no margarine (butter only) for the health and long life of our beloved Gordie Guiboche! You can sign up here. (Note: if you are having trouble accessing the signup sheet, please email your entry to [email protected] and we will enter it for you.)
