Vancouver Eastside Vineyard Church All are welcome, whether saint or sinner, seeker or skeptic. Our church is comprised of people from all races, socio-economic groups, and strata of society.

Our vision is to be a safe place for children, artists, the poor, First Nations, immigrants & anyone looking for a cause to give their life to, as together we love and serve our world.

This Sunday, July 12, is the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost in Ordinary Time. We will gather at 3 p.m. at St. David of Wales, for a one-hour "Simple Church," Service, which will include the Lower Post team sharing and we will break bread together. Kids Church will also be available, thanks to Annalies and Josh. We will also provide a framework for our upcoming "VEV Summer Sabbath."

This Sunday’s 4pm community meal has been cancelled. There will be a VEV World Cup House Viewing Party at 12noon - Canada Versus South Africa! For more details, text or call 604 889-3135. After the game, we will take a few minutes to pray for our upcoming Lower Post trip, July 2-7.

This Sunday, June 21 is the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost in Ordinary Time, Father's Day, and National Indigenous Peoples Day! We will gather for worship at 3pm at St. David of Wales and continue our teaching series, "A New Exodus," focusing on the topic, "Judging," from our text, Matthew 7:1-12. Kids church will be available with Shannon, and we will observe intergenerational communion. We will also take some time to honor the dads and all our men in our community and observe National Indigenous Peoples Day. Please remember to watch for FIFA parking restrictions around our building.

This Sunday, June 14, is the Third Sunday after Pentecost in Ordinary Time. This is a Neighbourhood Group Weekend and this Saturday, June 13 (today!) both North Burnaby and East Van Neighbourhood groups will be joining the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Shannon and Gordie Guiboche at Silverbrook Farm in Abbotsford at 1:30pm ! Huge congratulations to Shannon and Gordie on 30 years together so well-lived and well-loved, which has overflowed in so much blessing to us and so many! Theirs was the first wedding ceremony I officiated here at VEV! Please note that there will be no service at St. David of Wales this Sunday. We will gather again for regular worship and communion next Sunday, June 21 at 3pm, which is Father's Day and National Indigenous Peoples Day!

This Sunday, June 7 is the Second Sunday after Pentecost in Ordinary Time and we will be gathering for worship at St. David of Wales at 3pm. We will continue our teaching theme, "A New Exodus," based on the Sermon on the Mount. This week's topic is "The Currency of Heaven," from our text, Matthew 6:19-34, and we will observe intergenerational communion together. This is also Food Pantry and Benevolence Sunday. Kids: Age-appropriate activity boxes will be available, and the sacristy has been prepared as a supervised play area with a video/audio feed of the sermon.

FIFA Parking restrictions go into effect this Sunday up to the end of July, impacting some streets around the church. Watch for signs, and use the church parking lot if unsure. Don't forget to fill out your camp survey!

This Sunday, May 24 is Pentecost Sunday, the birthday of the Church! We will gather at 3pm in the large Montessori room on the ground floor of St. David's for a community meal planned and prepared by Gord and Carol! This will include additional vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options. We are so grateful to them and want to provide lots of help! Please click link below to sign up to help. We look forward to celebrating the arrival of Pentecost and some rich table time together.
Note: A free play area for kids is adjacent to this room. We will begin with a brief time of reflection on Pentecost and prayer and enjoy a meal together.
