What looked like defeat on Good Friday was actually the moment justice was finally fulfilled — and the story didn’t end there. This Easter weekend, we gather to remember how the cross turned humanity’s darkest moment into the turning point of redemption.

Join us from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, as we journey from the cross to the empty tomb, where honest questions lead to living faith.

Day 5: God Keeps His Promises!
Today, campers explored Jesus’ teaching on worry from Matthew 6:25-34.
Big Truth: God is faithful with the big things in my life, and He will be faithful with the small things too.
Focus: I don’t have to worry because God keeps His promises.

Highlights will included:

🐸 Leap of Faith Game: hopping like frogs from lily pad to lily pad, trusting God with every leap

⚖️ Faithfulness Jar: filling a jar with big worries (ping pong balls), small worries (beans/rice), and tiny thoughts (glitter) to see that God has room for it all

💭 Wonder Questions: reflecting on worries and remembering God cares for each one

🧸 Fret Pets: campers will bring home a pom-pom critter to remind them to cast their worries on God, with this poem:

CAST YOUR WORRIES (Based on Matthew 6:25-32)
When worries wiggle in your mind,
And peace is very hard to find,
Just grab your fret pet, soft and small,
Cast your cares—God wants them all!
The birds don’t worry what they’ll eat,
Yet God provides each wormy treat.
The flowers bloom in colours bright—
They don’t pick clothes or fuss at night!
So lift your eyes and look around,
God’s greatness fills both sky and ground.
He’s in the big things and the small—
Our King, Creator over all!
God knows your needs, He hears your prayers,
He loves you and He’s always there.
Squeeze your fret pet, take a breath,
And trust the Lord in life and death.
For if He cares for all things old and new—
Think how much more He cares for you!

Memory Verse:
“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” – Psalm 100:5
Let us not forget our annual water and worship afternoon as we flipped the script and kids led us in our Worship Rally to wrap up our week!

Day 4: Jesus is the Light!
Today, we ran a Bible activity in the dark to mimic the night when Nicodemus met with Jesus and learned what being born again means to those who believe and confess in His name. We connected how, like moths move towards the light, people are drawn to Jesus.

Memory Verse:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

Object lessons included:
Backpack of Burdens – feeling the weight of sin and learning that Jesus takes it away
Truth or Trash – sorting lies from God’s truth
Jesus Loves You Circle – naming people Jesus loves and remembering “Jesus loves ME!”

🌊✨ Today at camp, kids learned a powerful truth:
🔎 Big Truth: God isn’t okay with sin, but He still loves sinners like us.

Using a colour-changing science lab, they saw how:
❤️ Sin stains our hearts (red cabbage + vinegar turned pink/red)
💙 Jesus transforms us when we trust Him (cabbage + baking soda turned blue/green)
🤍 Only Jesus can fully cleanse us (bleach cleared it completely!)

They explored how Jesus met the woman at the well, knowing all her mistakes, and still offered her Living Water – His love that fills every empty place in our hearts and overflows to others.

💧“But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️Afternoon recreation brought some sunshine to our day as campers and leaders played hard and had a blast at 365 Fun Days!

DAY 2 CAMP RECAP
Today campers learned this Big Truth:
* God keeps the whole universe going, and yet He still cares about them.
They heard how Jesus calmed a raging storm (Mark 4:35-41) to show His friends that even when life feels scary or out of control, He is powerful and always with us.

During “In the Boat with Me Bible lesson,” campers experienced a 4D storm lesson – complete with wind and rain – as they imagined being in the boat with Jesus. They felt how real fear can be, and how real God’s peace is too.

They watched an experiment where water rose inside a glass after the candle’s flame went out, reminding them that God draws us close when life feels dark or overwhelming.

Kids also worked together to complete a giant puzzle, learning that God guides us step by step, even when we can’t see the whole picture.

✨ Memory Verse:
‘The Lord Himself goes before you. He will be with you. He will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid.’ – Deuteronomy 31:8b

Our campers kicked off the week getting creative, printing their bug frames and making their mark!
From day one, object lessons and TreeTop Bible started to connect every detail of camp. Campers learned that God created everything, and still has time for us (Mark 10:13-16)! We are His unique masterpieces after all. Snowflakes and fingerprints showed just how carefully and purposefully He made each one of us.
Afternoons were full of Friendship, Excitement, and Discovery.
From hands-on reptile learning to puzzling their way through a Riddle Run, campers tasted and saw that the Lord is good with a sweet honey treat at the finish!
