They were not even complaining why God did not save them from prison since they were on evangelism.
They were demonstrating that when Jesus sets you free, you are free indeed even if you're in prison.

RICH, BUT UNAWARE

This story, told by Brother Branham, shows us that we can possess great treasures without even knowing it, because God has already placed blessings within our reach, often hidden in His Word.

A woman lived in extreme poverty. She had no food and no means to support herself.

One day, a government officer came to assess her situation and offer help. During their conversation, he asked:

“Do you have any relatives who could help you?”

She calmly replied:
“Yes, I have a son.”

“What does he do?”
“He is an electrical engineer in India.”

“And he doesn’t help you?”
“No… but he is a very kind young man. He often writes me very beautiful letters. I love him so much that I cannot tell him I am in need.”

Then she added:
“He also sends me beautiful pictures, among the most beautiful I have ever seen.”

Intrigued, the officer said:
“Show me these pictures.”

The woman then took her Bible and began to carefully take out these “pictures” that she had kept between its pages.

And there… surprise!

They were not just pictures.
They were postal money orders from India, containing money.

This woman had a real fortune… but she was completely unaware of it.
All her wealth had been there, hidden in her Bible.

Lesson:
Like this woman, many live in spiritual poverty while they are actually rich in Christ.
Everything we need is already there… in God’s Word.
