Even now in your darkest moments, God speaks. It's for now, and it's to the nations of the world. Even after Peter denied Jesus three times, the seeds of standing for Jesus were planted. When the crowd doubted at the Pentecost, he was the one to recognize the promises written by Joel, and he was the one to declare it to the nations: This is it.

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:25-33

We cannot bear the image of God on our own. God himself is within the triune community. To reflect and be an agent of the image of God is to be within community as a unified body. We are blessed to reflect the Image of God with you, church!

On Wednesday, we hosted our first Embers night and gathered for a time of worship, prayer, ministry, and making connections across the city. The wind is blowing, the embers are spreading, and fire is catching. Are you ready, Vancouver? Stay tuned for the next one.

💫 Your act of sacrifice, obedience, choices, actions are counted generations down. What you give and what you offer to the Lord now may not manifest NOW. But the Lord is saying, the return will be in Heaven AND in generations down.

God is a god of faithfulness ❤️

Choose wisely, decisions matter. Not only are you doing battle - but even the insignificant things you do now, can count towards something great. You don’t know who will benefit from that single act of obedience.

God is rewarder of faith - not just in my lifetime but for generations to come!
