It is with a deeply burdened heart that we acknowledge the tragic events that unfolded yesterday in the close-knit community of Tumbler Ridge in the Peace region. While many details are still coming to light, authorities have confirmed that precious lives were lost and others were injured.

You may have friends, or have loved ones in the Peace region. Please know that our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences are with every family and every individual touched by this heartbreaking tragedy. The days ahead will be heavy for the community. May they feel the strength, compassion, and intercession of the wider body of Christ standing with them.

Moments like this are difficult to comprehend and can stir up fear, sorrow, anxiety, or grief. If you are feeling overwhelmed, please remember—you are not alone. We carry this together, and the Lord is near to the brokenhearted.

If you need support, we hold space fo what you are carrying. Please reach out to Pastor or a Ministry Leader, or someone you can trust.

Maranatha Tabernacle was honored to host Matthew and Onnalisa Nash back in September 2025. They are Missionaries to French Polynesia, Pacific. They shared their incredible journey of ministry, and their exciting new calling to the work in French Polynesia. It was wonderful to be with them! May the Lord Bless their Ministry in 2026!
