THE PROUD WON'T ENTER HEAVEN

Pride is one of the most dangerous sins because it hides itself so well.

It tells us we are right. It tells us we are the victim. It tells us we don't need advice, correction, or repentance.

Pride was the sin of Lucifer. It is the sin that keeps many souls from God.

The saints understood that humility is not optional. It is the doorway to every other virtue.

That is why the Litany of Humility is such a powerful prayer. It exposes our pride and teaches us to trust God instead of ourselves.

It is not an easy prayer, but neither is Heaven.
