إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون

Indeed, to Allah we belong, and indeed, to Him we shall return.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved uncle and longtime Mu'adhin (Muezzin) of Dar Al Sunnah, Ahmad Palani, originally from Kurdistan.

We ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to forgive him, have mercy upon him, pardon his shortcomings, illuminate and expand his grave, and grant him the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaws. May Allah grant his family and loved ones patience, strength, and comfort during this difficult time.

Janazah Prayer Details:

📅 Date: Tuesday, October 27, 2026

🕌 Location: Masjid Al Rashid

📍 Address: 13070 113 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5E 5A8

🕐 Time: After Salat al-Dhuhr (1:19 PM)

We encourage our brothers and sisters in the community to attend the Janazah prayer, fulfill the rights of our deceased brother, and remember him in their sincere du'as.

O Allah, forgive him, have mercy upon him, grant him well-being, pardon him, honour his reception, make spacious his entrance, and admit him into Paradise.

May Allah accept his years of service to His House and make them a source of ongoing reward for him.

آمين يا رب العالمين

Please share this announcement so that members of our community may attend and make du'a for our beloved brother.
