We concluded this year’s Ecumenical Mission with a beautiful service hosted by Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish.

Archbishop Linda offered her final address, “Called to be Community in the Face of Rising Protectionism,” reminding us to reach outward, to build bridges where the world builds walls, to embody compassion where suspicion takes hold, and to live as signs of God’s reconciling love in a divided world.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this Mission possible, and to all who support it by attending, volunteering, and inviting others to join in this shared witness of faith and unity.

Looking ahead, Glory Lutheran Church and Mount Olivet Lutheran Church will host the 2026 Ecumenical Mission. Stay tuned here for details as plans unfold!

The aroma of coffee and delicious baking, along with the warm hospitality of Ardrossan United Church, greeted us this morning for Coffee and Bible Study. Together, we reflected on moments when we have welcomed the stranger and times when, as strangers ourselves, were welcomed and embraced in community.
