Tweed St John's United Church We are a welcoming community of faith at Tweed St. John's United Church. It's a place to worship and enjoy fellowship. Our Sunday Service is at 11am.

I couldn't let this special ladies birthday go by without wishing her the best! Vickie has done so much for our church, too much to mention everything. The photo below is a classic of her giving CPR to her hand puppet in one of our church plays. She volunteered three to four months every year for twenty-five years to bring her amazing talents to our Dinner/Theatre. She and others brought laughter to many audiences. They still ask us when we will do another. That ship has sailed, I'm afraid. Lol. On behalf of your Church Family, we want to thank you for everything you do for the church and to wish you a very Happy Birthday! šŸ„°

AN INTERESTING FACT ABOUT OUR CHURCH. In 1884 a bell was purchased from the Madoc Church and installed in the Methodist Church Of Canada (St. John's United Church today). On June 11th, 1891 a fire destroyed all but one wall of the church. The fragments of the bell were saved and later remoulded into a memorial tablet with the names of our heroes who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1918. The tablet hangs in the main entrance of the church.
