Hubbard's Point Gospel Hall Meeting place of local church in Hubbard's Point, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada Who are we? What do we believe? Our creed is the Word of God only.

We are Christians gathered to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20

Who do we follow? Our head is the Lord Jesus Christ; we have no earthly official. “Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23. Our guide is the holy inspired Word of God — the Bible. “All scripture is given by inspiration of

God, and is profitable.” II Timothy 3:16. “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105 “We preach Christ crucified.” I Corinthians 1:23. We preach man's sin and God's remedy for sin. “All have sinned.” Romans 3:23. “Through this man is preached unto you the forgivness of sins.” Act 13:38. We preach how any person can have the assurance of being in Heaven for eternity according to God's Word. “These things have I written unto you... that ye may know that ye have eternal life.” I John 5;13. What is our mission? Our purpose is to honor God by obeying His Word in its teachings, by having fellowship with one another, and by preaching the gospel to whoever will hear. We “declare unto you the gospel... how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures.” I Corinthians 15:1-4. What is our message for you? There is a danger — “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 “Is there any word from the Lord?... There is” Jeremiah 37:17. God wants you to have lasting peace, real joy in this life and assurance of eternal life. How is this possible? — through the Lord Jesus Christ alone. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 We invite you to attend all our meetings.

“Brothers, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37

The Lord Jesus is the great unavoidable. We must have a doing with Him. The Lord said that the Holy Spirit would convict the world of sin (John 16:8). The greatest demonstration of sin was the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus and all are guilty of this heinous act. What shall we do in light of our guilt concerning this? Peter answered that very question by preaching salvation through Christ and the result was 3,000 souls saved (Acts 2:38-41). What will you do? Only believe and you will be saved.

Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them… Zephaniah 1:18, KJV

Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 1 Peter 1:18-19

Silver and gold cannot save us. The Lord Jesus—the spotless, holy, sinless, impeccable Lamb of God—must give His life at Calvary to deliver us from the judgment of God. Unsaved soul, come to Christ and accept the redemption He offers through His blood, before it is too late. "After this [death] the Judgment" (Hebrews 9:27, KJV).
