Sunday recap from Pastor Revello Justin Smith.
Yesterday, we spoke about 1 Timothy 4:12-16. The sermon title was 'Influence or Influenced?'
We learned about the importance of knowing our source of influence - the information we give has to be grounded and rooted in good soil!
We must understand that everybody is young to somebody! So, we need not let anyone look down on us because we are young, but as Paul said, set an example (be an influencer!) in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity!
Your words are your speech, your actions are your conduct, your motives are your love, trust is your faith, and purity is your inner integrity!
Apostle Paul never said be impressive or be successful; he said be an example! Because the reality is, if your inner life is right, it will show outwardly - and no one will be able to dismiss that.
Let us remember, as the world tries to shape us, let Christ be our standard, our blueprint, and our joy! Remember, joy isn’t waiting outside; it lives within. So, let the light of Christ dwell within you, and let that same light make you a beacon of Christ-like influence to everyone around you!
