Join us this Sunday, August 4, for our Outdoor Worship Service at the Historic Zion Lutheran Church site. Worship will be at 11:00 AM and a potluck picnic lunch will follow. Bring a lawn chair for yourselves and enjoy this annual event as we gather around God's Word. Today, is the Ascension of Our Lord...40 days after Easter. Unfortunately, we do not have a worship gathering today but we encourage you to take time to reflect and give thanks for who Christ is for you. The Sunday service will be built around the ascension message for us. Also, on Sunday you can come at 10:00 am for our monthly Bible Class time. The young will join in a study time together and the Adults will also gather to reflect on the message of an up coming hymn.

Good Friday worship service in Torrington is at 11:00 am.

Merciful and everlasting God, You did not spare Your only Son but delivered Him up for us all to bear our sins on the cross. Grant that our hearts may be so fixed with steadfast faith in Him that we fear not the power of sin, death, and the devil; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
