Seniors of the congregation and their friends are invited to a Seniors Group gathering on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at Martin Luther Church.

Guest Cathy O’Toole (RECE, BA), the Executive Director at Martin Luther Child Care, will speak about how the work of the Child Care benefits our community.

There will also be a fun reflection on "Memories of our First Day of School". From child to senior, starting something new brings a range of emotions. Be part of the conversation!

Refreshments will be provided, and the program will be in German and English. Please let the office know if you need a ride to church or are able to provide a ride for someone else.

Martin Luther Church will have a special guest on Sunday August 16, 2026!

Our former Pastor Christian Ceconi is visiting Canada with his family, and will be stopping by our church for the 11:00 am German-English service.

If you are able, please bring a dessert to share afterwards!

All are welcome to join us for Dinner Church on Wednesday July 29, 2026 at 7:00 pm at our Martin Luther Church!

We're once again hosting "Dinner Church Camp." In addition to our potluck dinner and prayers, we will sing camp songs, enjoy fun activities and games, and roast marshmallows by the fire (weather-permitting). Families welcome!

You are invited to come early to help set up at 6:00 pm, contribute a salad for our potluck dinner, and/or stay afterwards to help clean up.

Our church has registered to play Feather and Cross Bingo this summer! Help us fill a bingo card by sharing your experiences and ideas to learn Indigenous culture and history.

This week, we thank lay preacher Tanya Zielke for leading the services last Sunday June 21, 2026. She connected her sermon to Father’s Day. We also celebrated Dan’s 65th birthday with Black Forest cake after worship!

Our raised garden beds at 5 Superior continued to bloom thanks to the GARDENS Lakeshore team. On Friday, we served our community through Bowls & Blessings and BBQ, sharing food from a place of abundance and hospitality.

At the same time, our Pastor Annika, Church Council President Jocelyn, Church Council Co-Vice-President Sonja, office manager Marlena and summer admin assistant Shawnia met to plan for the future of our ministry, while exciting summer opportunities are on the way! Fill a Truth & Reconciliation Bingo Card and journey through books, powwows, and meaningful learning experiences together.
