Worldliness & Conformity

Being in the world does not mean we have to be of the world. Think of it like a plant that is not deeply rooted; if it is placed in soil filled with weeds, it will soon struggle to survive. When we align ourselves with people or systems that do not share our faith, we are essentially changing the 'climate' of our lives. If we are not daily feeding on the truth of the Word of almighty God, we inevitably begin to mirror the values and habits of those we walk with. We are called to be distinct, not to blend in. Be mindful of who you allow to influence your growth, and stay firmly planted in your convictions.

2 Corinthians 6:14: Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?

1 Corinthians 15:33: "Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.

Romans 12:2: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

"Have your cake and eat it too generation"

We are living in a "have your cake and eat it too" generation that wants the blessings of the Kingdom without the requirements of the King, often seeking the label of "Christian" for comfort while refusing the biblical call to be separate in order to stay "relevant" to the world (2 Corinthians 6:17). We have traded the "Fear of the Lord" for the "vibe" of the culture, forgetting that Jesus didn't call us to blend in, but to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him (Matthew 16:24). The Bible is clear that there is no "middle ground" in the Spirit; you cannot have one foot in the sanctuary and the other in the world’s systems and expect to remain the "salt of the earth" (Matthew 5:13). True love isn't affirming someone on a path to destruction, but rather standing in the gap to speak the Truth of the Gospel—even when it causes conviction and makes you unpopular—because it is better to be rejected by the world for the Truth than to be denied by the Father for our silence (Matthew 10:33). It is time to stop trying to "rebrand" the narrow way to make it wider and instead be a people truly set apart, living a lifestyle that proves Jesus is Lord of our lives rather than just a "partner" in our personal journey.

​Thank you for being women who love God with all your heart. We see the way you lead by example. We see the strength you find in your faith every single day.
​Thank you for your dedication. We know that you are trying your best to raise your children under the admonition of the Word of God. Your commitment to planting seeds of truth and grace in the hearts of our youth does not go unnoticed.
​You are the heartbeat of our homes and a foundation for this ministry. We pray that God continues to strengthen you, guide you, and fill your cup as you pour into the next generation.

I can see!👀

If Abraham, "....rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad", speaks of Jesus Christ, who was to come and die on the Cross to redeem fallen humanity. Why can't we look back to what He has done, the price Jesus Christ paid for you and I, rejoice and be glad? Abraham looked to the Cross and was blessed! Church let's get back to what Abraham was looking at. Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Hiding from God! 🛐

The majority of the human race are in a state of hiding, whether we know it or not. We try to hide from God in so many different ways, fooling/deceiving ourselves in thinking that the Creator of Heaven and Earth is blinded to our various hiding places. So many of us try to cover/hide ourselves with morality, sacraments and/or religious ceremonies. We think if we do so many good things, then that makes us justified in the eyes of God. However, rest assured if that's our approach to attain salvation, then we remain in our fallen state. God has one salvation plan, one way and that's Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. The same way we are justified, it's same way we are sanctified. That way is, faith in God's only Son Jesus Christ, who He is and what He did. Today if you are hiding from God, stop! Show yourself, and watch God do wonders in your life.

For many, marriage doesn't have the sacred meaning God intended it to be. We're leaving in a society where marriage has been pushed to the side as being old fashioned and antiquated. S*x before marriage is being pushed on this young generation like never before. However, we're here to remind one and all, that God has NOT changed. "He's still the same yesterday today and forever." It's still sinful to be in a unequally yoked relationship. It's still sinful to part take in sexual activity without being married. The true church will never sugarcoat the truth for people to continue in their sin. If any of us finds ourselves in this position, God's grace is ready to receive us, if true repentance is asked of us to God.

Religious but lost"

This is the status of most people in the world today and sad to say, many in the church. It comes natural for us as human beings to depend on our own abilities/intellect to reach God. Perhaps it’s because of the fall in the garden which has crippled our way of thinking. The majority of the world thinks they are right with the Creator because they do spiritual things. However, I can assure the individual(s) who has that mindset towards God is dead wrong. First of all, if God had anything for us to earn we would not have been able to afford it. Secondly, and most importantly everything we receive from God is a gift, which can only come through His Son Jesus Christ. The work He performed at the Cross made all of this possible. So when you quote a few Bible verses each morning thinking that this makes you righteous sorry you’re lost. When you go to church on Sundays or the one time a year you do show up to smooth your conscience again you’re lost. I can go on and on with these spiritual doings that we do thinking they make us righteous. Is God against people doing spiritual things? The answer is NO! However, when a person starts trusting in their own labor, performance, efforts and/or religious routines to justify one’s self then yes you are religious but lost.

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
