DAY 342 — Thursday, June 11th, 2026

Mark 3:15 (KJV)

“And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:”

POWER FLOWS FROM HIS PRESENCE

In the previous verse, we learned that Jesus Christ ordained the twelve “that they should be with him” and “that he might send them forth to preach.”

Now we see another aspect of their calling:

“And to have power…”

Notice carefully.

The power came after being with Him.

The authority came after the relationship.

The ministry came after the fellowship.

This reveals an important Kingdom principle:

True spiritual power is the product of communion with Christ.

Many desire power.

Many seek influence.

Many want authority.

But Jesus first called the disciples into relationship before entrusting them with responsibility.

Then Scripture says:

“…to heal sicknesses…”

This demonstrates the compassion of God.

The ministry of Christ was not only concerned with people’s souls but also with their suffering.

Throughout the Gospel of Mark, we repeatedly see Jesus:

* Healing the sick
* Restoring the broken
* Strengthening the weak

And now He shares this ministry with His disciples.

This teaches us that God’s servants are called to become channels of blessing to others.

Then we read:

“…and to cast out devils.”

The Kingdom of God was advancing against the kingdom of darkness.

The disciples were not being sent merely to speak words.

They were being sent with divine authority.

Not authority in themselves.

But authority delegated by Christ.

This is a crucial distinction.

The power belonged to Jesus.

The disciples operated under His authority.

Another profound lesson emerges:

The Gospel is not merely information. It is transformation.

The ministry of Christ addressed:

* Sin
* Sickness
* Spiritual oppression

His Kingdom brought freedom and restoration.

Another connection to previous lessons:

In Mark 3:11, unclean spirits recognized Christ’s authority.

Now in Mark 3:15, that authority is being extended to those He has called and prepared.

The disciples could minister effectively because they were connected to Him.

The same principle remains true today:

Our effectiveness depends upon our connection to Christ.

John 15:5 (KJV)

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

1. Spiritual authority flows from relationship with Christ.
2. God equips those whom He calls.
3. The Kingdom of God brings healing, restoration, and freedom.
4. Ministry is effective when it operates under Christ’s authority.

MORAL LIFE LESSONS

* Stay connected to God daily.
* Use whatever God has entrusted to you to help others.
* Depend upon God rather than your own strength.
* Remember that true influence comes from God’s presence, not human ability.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1. Am I spending enough time with Christ to grow spiritually?
2. Do I rely more on God’s power or my own abilities?
3. How can I become a greater blessing to those around me?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of walking with You.

Help me remain connected to the Lord Jesus Christ every day.

Teach me to depend upon Your strength and not my own.

Use my life as a channel of healing, encouragement, and blessing to others.

Let Your power work through me for Your glory.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

DAY 341 — Wednesday, June 10th, 2026

Mark 3:14 (KJV)

“And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,”

BEFORE THE ASSIGNMENT COMES THE ASSOCIATION

Having called His disciples up the mountain, Jesus Christ now takes a significant step:

“And he ordained twelve…”

This was not merely a selection.

It was an appointment.

It was a divine setting apart.

These men would become the foundation of the apostolic ministry through which the Gospel would spread throughout the world.

Yet before speaking of what they would do, Jesus first addressed who they would be.

Notice the order carefully:

“That they should be with him…”

This is the first purpose.

Not preaching.

Not miracles.

Not ministry.

Being with Him.

This is one of the most overlooked truths in Christian service.

Before Christ called them to work for Him, He called them to walk with Him.

Before public ministry came private fellowship.

Before the platform came the presence.

Before the assignment came the association.

This teaches a profound lesson:

God is more interested in who we are becoming than merely what we are doing.

Many people desire:

* A title
* A ministry
* A position
* Recognition

But Jesus first desired relationship.

The disciples would learn:

* His character
* His compassion
* His wisdom
* His ways

By spending time with Him.

Psalm 27:4 (KJV)

“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.”

Then comes the second purpose:

“…and that he might send them forth to preach.”

Notice the sequence:

1. Be with Him.
2. Be sent by Him.

Many want number two without number one.

But effective ministry flows out of intimacy with Christ.

You cannot faithfully represent someone you do not truly know.

The power of the disciples would not come from education, talent, or personality.

It would come from their relationship with Jesus.

Another connection to previous lessons:

In Mark 3:13, Jesus called them to Himself.

Now in Mark 3:14, He establishes them for purpose.

Calling leads to communion.

Communion leads to commission.

SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

1. Relationship with Christ must come before service for Christ.
2. God calls people to Himself before He sends them out.
3. Effective ministry is born out of intimacy with God.
4. Divine appointments carry divine purpose.

MORAL LIFE LESSONS

* Spend time developing your relationship with God.
* Do not allow activity to replace intimacy.
* Learn to value character as much as calling.
* Let your service flow from your walk with Christ.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1. Am I spending enough time with the Lord?
2. Have I become busy for God while neglecting fellowship with God?
3. Is my service flowing from intimacy or merely obligation?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me into fellowship with You.

Help me never to place ministry above relationship or activity above intimacy.

Teach me to abide in Your presence daily.

Let my life and service flow from a deep and genuine walk with You.

Shape my character, strengthen my faith, and prepare me for every assignment You have for me.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION — Rev. Steven Osazuwa

I declare over you today: you shall grow deeper in your relationship with the Lord.

Your spiritual life shall not be shallow.

Your fellowship with God shall become richer and stronger.

The Lord shall prepare you for every assignment He has ordained for your life.

You shall not merely work for God.

You shall walk with God.

And from that place of intimacy, God shall use you mightily for His glory.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

DAY 340 — Tuesday, June 9th, 2026

Mark 3:13 (KJV)

“And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.”

THE CALL TO COME HIGHER

After ministering to the multitudes, healing the sick, and demonstrating authority over unclean spirits, Jesus Christ does something significant:

“And he goeth up into a mountain…”

Throughout Scripture, mountains often represent places of:

* Separation
* Prayer
* Revelation
* Divine encounter

Jesus intentionally moved away from the crowd and ascended the mountain.

This teaches us a powerful lesson:

There are things God reveals on the mountain that cannot be received in the crowd.

The crowd experienced miracles.

But those called higher would receive something deeper.

Then Scripture says:

“…and calleth unto him whom he would…”

This was not a casual invitation.

It was a deliberate call.

Jesus was preparing to establish those who would carry His mission forward.

Notice that the call originated with Him.

The disciples did not appoint themselves.

They were called by Christ.

This reminds us that every genuine ministry begins with God’s initiative.

John 15:16 (KJV)

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you…”

Then comes a simple but beautiful statement:

“…and they came unto him.”

That is the heart of discipleship.

Jesus called.

They responded.

The call alone was not enough.

Their response mattered.

Many hear God’s voice.

Few respond with obedience.

The difference between the crowd and the disciple is often found in that simple phrase:

“They came unto him.”

Another powerful insight:

Before Jesus appointed the twelve, He first called them to Himself.

Before service comes fellowship.

Before ministry comes intimacy.

Before assignment comes relationship.

Many people want:

* A platform
* A title
* A position

But Jesus first calls us to Himself.

The greatest privilege is not serving Christ.

The greatest privilege is knowing Christ.

Another connection to previous lessons:

The crowds came because of miracles.

The disciples came because of His call.

One group sought what He could do.

The other sought Him.

SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

1. God calls His people to deeper levels of intimacy.
2. True ministry begins with God’s initiative, not human ambition.
3. The call of God requires a personal response.
4. Relationship with Christ precedes service for Christ.

MORAL LIFE LESSONS

* Make time to withdraw from distractions and seek God.
* Respond quickly when God directs your steps.
* Value intimacy with God above public recognition.
* Build your life on relationship, not merely activity.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1. Is God calling me to a deeper walk with Him?
2. Am I responding to His call with obedience?
3. Do I value fellowship with Christ more than ministry for Christ?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me into fellowship with You.

Help me hear Your voice clearly and respond with willing obedience.

Draw me closer to You and deepen my relationship with You.

Teach me to seek Your presence above all else.

Let my life be shaped by intimacy with Christ and submission to Your will.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION — Rev. Steven Osazuwa

I declare over you today: you are being called to a higher place in God.

Every distraction that seeks to keep you in the valley shall lose its hold.

You will hear the voice of the Lord with greater clarity.

You will respond with faith, obedience, and surrender.

The Lord shall deepen your walk with Him and establish you in His purpose.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

DAY 339 — Monday, June 8th, 2026

Mark 3:12 (KJV)

“And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.”

THE POWER OF DIVINE TIMING

Following the declaration of the unclean spirits concerning the identity of Jesus Christ, we encounter a surprising response:

“And he straitly charged them…”

This was not a gentle suggestion.

It was a firm command.

Jesus exercised absolute authority over the spirits and commanded them:

“…that they should not make him known.”

At first, this may seem unusual.

If they were declaring who He was, why silence them?

The answer reveals a profound spiritual principle:

God’s work must unfold according to God’s timing.

Jesus did not need the testimony of unclean spirits to validate His identity.

Truth does not require the endorsement of darkness.

His mission would be revealed:

* At the right time
* In the right way
* Through the right witnesses

This teaches us something important:

Not every truth should be revealed immediately.

There are seasons when God is:

* Preparing
* Positioning
* Establishing

Before public manifestation.

Many people become frustrated because they want immediate recognition.

But God often works through process before promotion.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”

Another important lesson:

Jesus refused to allow the wrong voices to define His ministry.

Even though the spirits spoke truth about His identity, they were not appointed messengers of that truth.

This reminds us:

The source of a message matters.

God chooses His own vessels and His own methods.

Another connection to previous lessons:

The crowds were growing.

The miracles were multiplying.

The influence of Christ was expanding.

Yet Jesus remained completely submitted to the Father’s timing.

He was never driven by popularity.

He was driven by purpose.

This is one of the great marks of spiritual maturity.

Purpose must govern what popularity cannot.

SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

1. God’s timing is as important as God’s promise.
2. Truth must be communicated through God’s appointed means.
3. Spiritual maturity waits for God’s timing.
4. Jesus was driven by purpose, not popularity.

MORAL LIFE LESSONS

* Learn to trust God’s timing in your life.
* Do not seek recognition before God has prepared you.
* Allow purpose to guide your decisions.
* Be patient with the processes God is using to develop you.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1. Am I willing to wait for God’s timing?
2. Have I been pursuing recognition more than purpose?
3. What area of my life requires greater patience and trust?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect wisdom and timing.

Help me trust Your process even when I do not understand it.

Teach me to value purpose above popularity and obedience above recognition.

Give me patience to wait for Your appointed time.

Let my life unfold according to Your will and not according to human pressure.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION — Rev. Steven Osazuwa

I declare over you today: you will not run ahead of God’s timing.

The Lord will establish you according to His perfect plan.

Every premature door shall remain closed, and every God ordained door shall open at the appointed time.

You will not miss your season.

You will not be delayed beyond your season.

The wisdom of God shall guide your steps and the favor of God shall rest upon your life.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
