We’re so grateful that we’ve been able to faithfully meet at Tartu College over the last few months, but are eager to return to our home at U of T! Join us this Sunday at 10:30AM.

Meet Fikri Youssef, our guest speaker this Sunday!

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Fikri encountered God at 16 and soon sensed a call to full-time ministry. He and his wife, Margot, have spent decades serving the Church through pastoral ministry, church planting, Bible teaching, and missions across Latin America and beyond.

Fikri and Margot have planted and pastored churches in Bolivia, served with Every Nation globally, and worked alongside Dr. Rice Broocks through God’s Not Dead events around the world.

In 2019, they launched La Casa Church in Nashville, a bilingual Spanish-English church representing more than 30 nations, with a particular heart for international and university students.

Fikri speaks six languages: English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, French, and Italian. He carries a deep passion to see churches planted and disciples raised up among the nations. Today, their missionary focus includes church planting in Argentina and Brazil, while continuing to invest in churches and campus ministry around the world.

“And that is what struck me so strongly about this word, because he’s basically telling the army, okay, God is gonna send water. You’re not gonna see or hear the wind, you’re not gonna like see the clouds, but the water will start to flow. But here’s what I’m asking you to do: you need to now, right now, before the water starts to flow, you need to start digging these ditches. So that you’re ready when the water starts flowing.

And the question that God started asking me is, August, what would it look like in your life if you would start digging that ditch in your life
to be ready for what I want to do?”

Join us this Sunday as we welcome our guest speaker, Ágúst Olafsson!

Ágúst is a full-time Every Nation campus missionary serving in Iceland. He and his wife, Kolbrún, have three grown children. His ministry is focused on reaching and discipling university students in Reykjavík, where more than 14,000 students have limited access to the gospel.

After many years serving as a bivocational pastor while working in software engineering, Agust stepped into full-time ministry in 2024. He has also served alongside Dr. Rice Broocks and led the Icelandic translation of God’s Not Dead.

Ágúst is passionate about seeing Iceland reached with the gospel and becoming a sending nation that raises up disciples to impact the world.

“When we find our greatest joy and satisfaction and contentment in the true vine, Jesus, that’s a life that brings the greatest glory to God.

In seasons - we sang that song - in seasons of plenty, in seasons of disappointments, through the wilderness, on the— doesn’t matter. But when Jesus and God, when they become the most satisfying thing in me, that I’m not chasing after the experiences or recognition of work, They’re a secondary thing. He’s the primary thing. That’s a life that glorifies God.

But think about that statement. Write it down. Meditate upon that. God is most glorified in me when I am most satisfied in him. Which begs the question, how satisfied are you right now in your relationship and walk with Jesus? And it’s absolutely okay to say, I’m a bit dissatisfied.”
