15th Sunday After the Pentecost

Last Saturday, September 5, 2026, our Parish of the Holy Child, Toronto, gathered once again as one community of faith for the celebration of the Holy Mass on the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost.

The Gospel from Matthew 18:15–20 reminded us of Christ’s call to reconciliation, forgiveness, and unity. We are reminded that our faith is not lived in isolation, but in community—where we listen to one another, seek understanding, heal divisions, and walk together in love.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” — Matthew 18:20

On this meaningful occasion, we also commemorated the 86th Death Anniversary of the Most Rev. Gregorio Aglipay, the first Obispo Maximo of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente. We remembered with gratitude his courageous life and enduring legacy of faith, service, patriotism, and love for the Filipino people. May his example continue to inspire us to live out a faith that stands with the people and works for justice, dignity, and peace.

Our parish celebration was made even more joyful as we celebrated the birthdays of our dear brothers Dennis Adriosula and Archie Lagundino. We thank God for the gift of their lives and pray that the Lord will continue to bless them with good health, happiness, strength, and many more years of faithful service.

May we continue to grow as one parish family—gathered in Christ, strengthened by faith, united in love, and committed to serving God and His people.

A Blessed Migrants’ Mass & Fellowship |
14th Sunday After the Pentecost

Last Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Parish of the Holy Child, Toronto gathered at All Saints Kingsway for our 14th Sunday After Pentecost Migrants’ Mass and Fellowship.

Guided by the Gospel reading from Matthew 16:21–28, we were reminded of Jesus’ call to “take up their cross and follow me.” This message resonates deeply with our migrant community, especially those who carry the challenges, sacrifices, and hopes of building a life far from home. May we continue to walk together in faith, solidarity, and love, knowing that we do not carry our crosses alone.

We were blessed to come together in the Eucharist, prayer, and fellowship, strengthening our community and our commitment to accompany one another—especially our migrant brothers and sisters.

We also joyfully celebrated the birthday of Bro. Augusto Asuncion!
Happy birthday, Bro. August!o
May God continue to bless you with good health, wisdom, joy, and many more years of service and fellowship with our community. 🎉🙏

We were also delighted to welcome Mariejo Ramos, who joined us in our Eucharistic celebration. Welcome to our parish community, Mariejo! We are grateful for your presence and look forward to sharing more moments of faith, friendship, and service together.

After the Mass, we continued with a joyful fellowship, sharing food, stories, laughter, and precious moments with one another. These gatherings remind us that our parish is more than a place of worship—it is a community and a family, where everyone is welcomed, valued, and supported.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration meaningful and joyful. May we continue to be nourished by the Spirit and bear fruits of renewal, accompanying one another in faith, hope, and solidarity.

Come, worship, connect, and grow in faith together. ❤️

To God be the glory!

Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost - August 22, 2026

We joyfully celebrated the "Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost" with our Holy Mass at All Saints Kingsway, reflecting on Matthew 16:13–20 and Jesus’ words about faith and the foundation of His Church.

We were also blessed to welcome Teddy Delacana from the Mission Parish of Montreal, who joined us in our service. We are grateful for your presence and warmly welcome you to our parish family! ❤️

Following the Mass, we gathered in prayer and love for the **funeral service of Lolo Pedro Arellano Culasing**, remembering his life and entrusting him to God’s eternal care. 🕊️

We then continued our ministry with a **house blessing for Vincent Manal and family**, praying for God’s protection, peace, and blessings upon their home and family. 🏠🙏

It was a meaningful day of **worship, fellowship, remembrance, and service**—a beautiful reminder that our faith calls us to walk with one another in every season of life.

May God continue to bless our parish community and all those we serve. ❤️🙏
