15th Sunday After the Pentecost
Last Saturday, September 5, 2026, our Parish of the Holy Child, Toronto, gathered once again as one community of faith for the celebration of the Holy Mass on the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost.
The Gospel from Matthew 18:15–20 reminded us of Christ’s call to reconciliation, forgiveness, and unity. We are reminded that our faith is not lived in isolation, but in community—where we listen to one another, seek understanding, heal divisions, and walk together in love.
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” — Matthew 18:20
On this meaningful occasion, we also commemorated the 86th Death Anniversary of the Most Rev. Gregorio Aglipay, the first Obispo Maximo of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente. We remembered with gratitude his courageous life and enduring legacy of faith, service, patriotism, and love for the Filipino people. May his example continue to inspire us to live out a faith that stands with the people and works for justice, dignity, and peace.
Our parish celebration was made even more joyful as we celebrated the birthdays of our dear brothers Dennis Adriosula and Archie Lagundino. We thank God for the gift of their lives and pray that the Lord will continue to bless them with good health, happiness, strength, and many more years of faithful service.
May we continue to grow as one parish family—gathered in Christ, strengthened by faith, united in love, and committed to serving God and His people.
Pro Deo et Patria!
