However, we're still keeping the special luncheon planned for pastors, leaders, and spouses on ‘Spirit-Filled Parenting’ on Monday, Jan 22nd, from 12:30 PM - 2 PM. Panel with Charles Price, Rick Hiemstra, and Annette Ford.

We’re absolutely ecstatic to announce the 60th Greater Toronto Spiritual Life Convention (GTSLC)! In line with our vision to “empower and unite Christians across the GTA for deeper spiritual vitality and meaningful impact,” we’ve got some key updates:

🎤 Who? Rev. Charles Price is returning as our guest speaker!

In line with our mission to provide a platform for Christians from diverse backgrounds to come together, learn from biblical exposition, and promote spiritual growth, unity, and impactful living, we’re more committed than ever, especially after a challenging 3-year hiatus. ✝️

📣 Heads up: We’re in the process of establishing partnerships and finalizing program details, so stay tuned!

GTSLC deeply grieves the sudden and unexpected passing of our committee treasurer, Will Sherman, and we honour the deep impact that he had made on others with his faithful service, integrity, gentleness, humility, kindness, and Christ-likeness. We thank Will for his long service and we are privileged to have served alongside him.

Prayer Request & Update:

The planning committee of Greater Toronto Spiritual Life Convention (GTSLC) just met for the first time this morning and have discerned to look ahead in planning for LIFE 2024 (with a possible smaller gathering in 2023).

The committee is made up of GTHA evangelical pastors and parachurch leaders who freely volunteer their time, and our last meeting together was on March 11, 2020 (a week before lockdowns). We apologize for the radio silence since our last 3-evening LIFE 2020 gathering with Pastor Mark Clark and The Worship Project, and we humbly ask for your earnest prayers as we look ahead.

The first GTSLC was held in 1961 at Avenue Road Church, and has since met at Knox Presbyterian Church, Bayview Glen Church, Willowdale Baptist Church and The Peoples Church, gathering believers from churches across the city and beyond, with 50+ speakers and worship leaders from around the world.

The purpose of the convention continues to be calling Christians, from different denominations and traditions, in a spirit of oneness and camaraderie, to a more serious spiritual walk and commitment to the Lord of the Church.
