Daily dose of Faith

Now the birth of Jesus Christ* took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; and her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to send her away quietly. But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel” (which means, God with us). - Matthew 1:18-23

A very special thank you to Fr. Jeremy Zou for being with us today, for sharing his time, wisdom, and message with us. Father, we truly appreciate your presence and everything you have shared with us.
And thank you to each and every one of you for coming, participating, and making this gathering so special. Your presence and openness are what make our Young Adults community so meaningful.
As we leave tonight, let us continue to carry what we have heard and experienced into our daily lives and keep growing together in faith.
And before we go, we would also like to invite everyone to join us on Tuesday, September 8th, as we celebrate the birthday of our Blessed Mother, Mother Mary. Let us come together as a community to honour Mary and ask for her prayers and guidance as we continue our journey with Christ.
