At Runnymede we offer a warm welcome to everyone. Whether you attended church in the past and are returning, would like to try somewhere new, or have never been to church and are curious – we welcome you to stop by. There are no expectations and no commitment is required. Just walk through our doors, and grab a seat! Relevant
In these chaotic times paus
ing to be thankful for the many gifts each of us has received can centre our lives and refresh our spirits. The church is deep in tradition, but at Runnymede we strive to embrace change to reflect the needs of today’s Christian. We believe in a progressive approach to faith, honouring reason and intellect in interpreting scripture for our modern lives. We don’t pretend to have all the answers. Listen to our services online through our website, or visit us this Sunday for what we hope will be an inspiring hour for you and your family. Kid-Friendly
At Runnymede we provide a weekly children’s message, a nursery, Sunday School, picnics, games nights, and opportunities for drama and singing. Children are encouraged to be active participants in learning about Christ and the importance of being Christ-like by helping and loving others. Kids will also share some laughs and make some great friends along the way … and so will their parents!
“I love Runnymede because I find the people very friendly and welcoming. The coffee hour after church is a great way to get to know the community.” - Larry
“I can always relate to the sermon which is interesting, never preachy and really gets me thinking. If I miss a sermon, I can always listen to it on our church’s website. There are many opportunities to use my gifts/talents. I appreciate the fact there is never any pressure to become involved in certain areas of ministry. I like the fact that our church is open to new ideas. I like worshipping here and I consider Runnymede my second home.” – Lynda
“We love Runnymede because it is family. One is welcomed, respected, and accepted, greeted warmly when coming in the door, and there’s always coffee or tea waiting! The folks at Runnymede are accommodating. They try their best to do fun things and involve as many people as possible. To know Runnymede is to love it!” - Beth
