Sonata No.2 in C Minor by Felix Mendelssohn

Kirkland Adsett was born in Fergus Ontario.
Formal music studies saw him attending Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree, respectively.

In addition to choral conducting, organ-playing and composition, improvisation has always greatly interested Kirk. Master-classes and private studies in improvisation have offered opportunities to study with Olivier Latry, Naji Hakim, Madame Jacquet-Langlais (France) and Otto Krämer (Germany).

Kirk's compositions are published exclusively with Cypress Choral Music.

Kirk has served as Director of Music and Organist at Anglican/Episcopal parishes in Salem, NJ, Ottawa, ON, Vancouver BC, and more recently at St. Clement's Church in Toronto.
