You are invited to the Blessing of the Animals Service at St. Anne's on Sunday, October 4th at 10:30am in our Parish Hall, 651 Dufferin Street. After the service (around 11.45am), coffee hour will be held in the church ruin, and additional blessings given to any animals that come by. All humans and animals are very welcome here!

The ruins of a historic Toronto church destroyed by fire two years ago became both the site of an art exhibition and multiple concerts this summer and a symbol of the parish’s determination to rebuild.

This weekend is the closing weekend of Where Walls Meet Sky Art Exhibition. Special programming we’ve added to close out the exhibition:

Friday Sept. 11th, 6 - 6:30pm: Never go to bed angry, a contemporary dance performance cheoreographed by Christian Lavigne.

Saturday Sept. 12th, 3 - 4pm: A guided tour of Where Walls Meet Sky led by Dr. Mark Cauchi, Professor of Humanities at York University.

Saturday Sept. 12th, 4 - 5pm: A solo performance by violinist Anne Lindsay.

Sunday Sept. 13th, 12 - 1pm: A guided tour of Where Walls Meet Sky with St. Anne’s Reverend Hannah Johnston & exhibition curator Rui Pimenta.

Sunday Sept. 13th, 4 - 6pm: Get into the spirit with DJ General Eclectic playing a set of spirit jazz!

This Sunday, September 13 is the last day of the Where Walls Meet Sky art exhibition in the church ruin. At 12pm, Rev. Hannah Johnston and Exhibit Curator Rui Pimenta will lead a tour of the exhibit, focusing on the theological meanings of the artwork. The tour is free and open to all.
