Thinking about the only true and Living God.
Jeremiah 10:10, But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. John 17:3. This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 1 Corinthians 8:6, Yet for us there is but one God, the Father. Deuteronomy 6:4, The Shema, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
For one year I have been looking for a Church to associate with, so I visit six different churches in Toronto, North York, Mississauga areas. I recently spent 4 months in Grenada, so I visited six different churches in Grenada, I came to realize that all of the churches I visited so far only talked about Jesus as God, there’s no direct reference to God the Father who is the creator of all of humanity.
These are the questions that came into my mind. Is God the Father became too old to be God and he is place in a back seat? did Jesus replace God the father as God? when did Jesus replace God the father as God?
God's personal name occurs nearly 7,000 times in the original Hebrew texts of the Bible, (God) appear over 1,000 times in the New Testament, none of these references is talking about Jesus. When we reading the Bible and the Bible mention God, it's not talking about Jesus, it's a direct reference to God the Father the creator of all humanity.
