WHO WE ARE

GYC (Generation.Youth.Christ) is a youth-initiated and-led movement of Seventh-day Adventists from diverse backgrounds, united in a common commitment to serious Bible study, intense prayer, uncompromising lifestyle, and boldness in sharing Christ with others. GYC seeks to uphold the distinctive message of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and equip and inspire young Adventists to be Ch

ristian ambassadors to their respective places of work and study. We are Canadian Seventh-day Adventist young people who seek to promote the spirit and ideals of GYC in eastern Canada. Have you made any plans for this summer already? Why not consider volunteering with us for a day! On June 11th, Compassion Health is holding a FREE health clinic for the community of Surrey and we need YOUR help!

Aside from licensed professionals, we also need enthusiastic and organized general support volunteers who can be in-charge of registration, usher guests, help with our various booths, etc.

Hello again! We have another wonderful event coming up this December!

Continuing with the theme of leadership, we’ll be holding a Planning Session with the purpose of helping you create and plan activities that are meaningful and spiritually-led for your church and local community for the year 2023! Come and meet fellow youth leaders and passionate youth and young adults to brainstorm, share tips and tricks, and discuss ways to foster youth ministries that can thrive!

Calling all youth and young adults! Will you be around the lower mainland BC area on Friday, November 18th? Then we'd love to see you at our Friday Night Vespers! We'll be talking about Christian Leadership, so whether you are in a leadership position or not or in-between, come and join in the interactive presentation and discussion. You'll be inspired and encouraged by fellow young leaders, and acquire practical lessons you can use at your local church, at work, school, and in your everyday life. Details are in the flyer below!
