Dear Devotees - TODAY is the holy Narasimha Jayanti. Please chant the following verse from Srimad Bhagavatam (5.18.8) whenever you have a moment:
oṁ namo bhagavate narasiṁhāya

Translation
I offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Nį¹›siṁhadeva, the source of all power. O my Lord who possess nails and teeth just like thunderbolts, kindly vanquish our demonlike desires for fruitive activity in this material world. Please appear in our hearts and drive away our ignorance so that by Your mercy we may become fearless in the struggle for existence in this material world.

Please join us in the temple and participate in Narasimha Yagna and naam sankirtana Yagna.

1 DAY TO GO:
About Sri Narasimhadev
The exact location of appearance of Narasimhadev is widely accepted to be Ahobilam in Andhra Pradesh, India. He is believed to have burst forth from Ugra Stambha pillar. Located at the base of Ugra Stambha hill is the Jwala Narasimha Temple, which marks the specific spot where the final battle ended. Near this temple is a sacred pond named Ratnakundam, where the water is said to remain dark red, is believed to be where the Lord washed the blood from his hands after killing the demon Hiranyakashipu. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu visited Ahobilam in 1521A.D and is believed to have experienced intense spiritual ecstasy. Jai Narasimhadev ki....JAI
