Church at the Mission

Church at the Mission Sunday Worship Service at 3 p.m. at 306 Gerrard Street East. Fully accessible! Church at the Mission (CATM)

Church at the Mission is a community of welcome.

It’s a place where people come to worship God, find strength for the daily journey and learn to live as a spiritual family in the city. It’s a community where people who are questioning the meaning and purpose of life find compassion, understanding and friendship, guidance and gentle pastoral care. It’s a place where the gospel of Jesus Christ is believed, lived and celebrated, and where we grow t

ogether as a community on a mission, Christ’s mission to love the world, to seek and save those who are lost, and to enfold humanity into the love of God in Christ. We are committed to being a church where the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ is always in evidence. When you visit Church at the Mission you’ll find vibrant worship and an opportunity for spiritual renewal. You’ll find supportive pastoral care and a casual, accepting and loving environment. You’ll find opportunities to grow, to receive, to be equipped and to give back. The Worship Experience:

Worship is a big deal at Church at the Mission. The Sunday worship service includes energetic and passionate worship-in-song led by a great contemporary band, and relevant and challenging Biblically-based messages from a team of passionate speakers. We also make time for quiet so you can approach God at your own speed and in your own style. Children and youth are central to the life of the church. Sunday School is provided for children 5-12, and child care is provided for children under 5. We believe that God changes us from the inside out, and that our goal is to be more like Jesus Christ in attitude, in love and in growing to care about what God cares about. We encourage people to come as they are, leaving masks behind. We don’t have a dress code other than this: Come as you are! So, to put it briefly, life at Church at the Mission includes:
-Programs for children, youth, women and men
-Worship, spiritual care, support and leadership development
-Worship services on Sundays at 3 p.m.
-Prison visitation
-Addiction recovery support and prison outreach
-Bible studies

Victory isn't solely about your effort; it's about divine intervention. When God is on your side, your enemies are delivered into your hands. Remember, true victory comes from above.

The Bible proclaims Jesus Christ as the King of Justice and King of Salem, meaning King of Peace. His reign brings both righteousness and tranquility.

Many Christians avoid discussions about tithing, but Abraham's tenth of everything was a voluntary act of gratitude, humility, and recognition of God's provision. It was worship, not a command.

True success isn't achieved alone. It comes from a higher power. After every triumph, let's remember to give all the glory where it's truly due. For God be the glory.

Feeling overwhelmed by challenges? Remember, you serve a God who is greater than any enemy you'll ever face. Even in your most painful moments, His strength prevails. Trust in Him.

A profound moment as Peter, James, and John saw Jesus transfigured, bathed in heavenly light. A glimpse of divine glory that transformed their understanding.

Trying to have a profound spiritual experience on the mountain, but Peter's got other ideas. Suddenly, it's time to talk about building shelters for Jesus, Moses, and Elijah. Talk about an unexpected turn!

Even those deeply versed in scripture failed to see Jesus for who he was. Their understanding of the law and prophets blinded them to his true purpose, leading to a profound misunderstanding.
