🇨🇦 A Prayer for Canada 🇨🇦

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of this vast and beautiful country we call home. We lift up Canada from coast to coast.We pray for our leaders—at every level of government, in our communities, and in our institutions. Grant them the wisdom to live by your word and to make decisions that promote justice, equity, and peace. Bless them with the courage to stand firm in times of difficulty and to act with integrity and selflessness.
Lord, we celebrate the rich diversity of the people who make up this country. Thank You for the First Peoples of this land and for the vibrant mosaic of cultures, languages, and backgrounds that enrich our communities. Unite us in our shared humanity and help us to always be bridge-builders.Instill a deep spirit of kindness and compassion in our neighborhoods.
In a world that can often feel divided, let Canadians be known for their empathy, hospitality, and willingness to support one another. May we always reach out to the vulnerable and marginalized with open hearts and hands.We pray for peace and prosperity across our country. Strengthen our families, bless our workforce, and guide our future.
In Your Holy Name, we pray.

As we observe Good Friday, let us unite in reflection and gratitude, embracing the transformative power of hope and renewal that this day embodies, and turn to Jesus with reverence and an openness to serve our Lord with purpose and dedication.

Join us at 11am as we celebrate Palm Sunday. Jesus enters Jerusalem shortly before his arrest and crucifixion, and is greeted by enthusiastic crowds. As Jesus approaches the city from the Mount of Olives and sends his disciples ahead to bring him a young donkey (or c**t). Jesus then rides into the city, evoking the biblical prophecy of a humble king (Zechariah 9:9). As he proceeds, people start shouting “Hosanna”.They spread their cloaks and leafy palm branches on the road and hail him as the coming King. Jesus is ever so aware that come Good Friday the very same people will shout crusify him.

Note Jesus is in control of his destiny (not a victim), He is a King worthy of praise, and His kingdom is one of peace, humility, and love. Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest!!!

Good morning everyone,
We have been closely monitoring the weather, and it is currently snowing with some accumulation. Given that more snow is expected throughout the morning, we anticipate worsening weather conditions during our service time, which could make the drive home difficult. For this reason, we've decided to cancel the morning worship service today. Please stay safe.
