Baba Eliton participated in the Morning Invocation at the opening session of the Wayne County Commission meeting. During the session, he offered a prayer for wisdom, justice, unity, and peace for all elected officials and the community they serve.
In the spirit of the Albanian American Bektashi tradition, the invocation emphasized service to humanity, compassion in leadership, and the responsibility of public servants to uphold dignity and fairness for all residents.
The Albanian American Bektashi Monastery continues its commitment to fostering interfaith harmony, civic engagement, and spiritual guidance within the broader American community.
