Emergency Case at Neve Michael: A Tisha B’Av Rescue

This past Sunday, during the Tisha B’Av fast, Neve Michael received an urgent call from Welfare Authorities: three siblings -ages 9, 10, and 12- had just been removed from a home marked by violence, neglect, and chaos. No other children’s home in the region could take them. Without immediate action, these children would have had nowhere to go.

Though our Emergency Crisis Center was already full, our team came together and made a swift decision: we would not turn them away. By evening, the children were safely tucked into beds in one of our Residential Family Homes, embraced by warmth and care.

They’re only just beginning to heal, but already their spirits are lifting. This morning, the youngest looked up at his House Mother and said: “You’re like the angels they talk about in the Bible.”

This is the soul of Neve Michael: a promise that no child will ever be forgotten, and that love, safety, and dignity will always be waiting for them here. 💛

We were honoured to welcome Jewish influencer Montana Tucker to Emunah’s Beit Elazraki this week. With over 13 million followers, Montana continues to use her platform to advocate for Israel and shine a light on our work.
She met with our team, spent time with the children, and shared: “It’s inspiring to meet amazing people who contribute to society and education in Israel. I’m proud to support this country and its people.”

Montana Tucker visited our orphanage - wow we were left speechless...

Jewish Network influencer - American Montana Tucker visited the Children's Home yesterday.
Tucker, a content creator with over 13 million followers on social media.

Tucker, who walked the red carpet at the 2024 Grammys wearing a dress with a yellow ribbon-printed on it with the caption Bring Them Home, continues to mobilize her power and social media accounts in favor of Israeli explanation.
In recent weeks she has been publishing content supporting Israel and is receiving a wide response - and she states that she intends to continue doing so without a break.

During a visit to the children's home, Tucker met with Yehuda the manager, who told her about the activities of the children's house. Tucker who was so excited by the action from the action, and said: "I'm so happy and excited to meet amazing people who contribute to society and education in Israel. It's inspiring and I'm proud to continue supporting the country of israel and it's people".

We are so thankful to Montana for this important visit that touched our children so much 🙏🏻❤️
