June 15th Message title :「Church Members: Believers and their Children」

Scripture Reading ：Acts 2:36-41
36 Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” 41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

聖書箇所：使徒の働き　2章36～41節
ですから、イスラエルの全家は、このことをはっきりと知らなければなりません。神が今や主ともキリストともされたこのイエスを、あなたがたは十字架につけたのです。」
人々はこれを聞いて心を刺され、ペテロとほかの使徒たちに、「兄弟たち、私たちはどうしたらよいでしょうか」と言った。
そこで、ペテロは彼らに言った。「それぞれ罪を赦していただくために、悔い改めて、イエス・キリストの名によってバプテスマを受けなさい。そうすれば、賜物として聖霊を受けます。
この約束は、あなたがたに、あなたがたの子どもたちに、そして遠くにいるすべての人々に、すなわち、私たちの神である主が召される人ならだれにでも、与えられているのです。」
ペテロは、ほかにも多くのことばをもって証しをし、「この曲がった時代から救われなさい」と言って、彼らに勧めた。
彼のことばを受け入れた人々はバプテスマを受けた。その日、三千人ほどが仲間に加えられた

11 Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17 And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens,[a] but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by[b] the Spirit.

聖書箇所：エペソ人への手紙　2章11～22節

"ですから、思い出してください。あなたがたはかつて、肉においては異邦人でした。人の手で肉に施された、いわゆる「割礼」を持つ人々からは、無割礼の者と呼ばれ、
そのころは、キリストから遠く離れ、イスラエルの民から除外され、約束の契約については他国人で、この世にあって望みもなく、神もない者たちでした。
しかし、かつては遠く離れていたあなたがたも、今ではキリスト・イエスにあって、キリストの血によって近い者となりました。
実に、キリストこそ私たちの平和です。キリストは私たち二つのものを一つにし、ご自分の肉において、隔ての壁である敵意を打ち壊し、
様々な規定から成る戒めの律法を廃棄されました。こうしてキリストは、この二つをご自分において新しい一人の人に造り上げて平和を実現し、
二つのものを一つのからだとして、十字架によって神と和解させ、敵意を十字架によって滅ぼされました。
また、キリストは来て、遠くにいたあなたがたに平和を、また近くにいた人々にも平和を、福音として伝えられました。
このキリストを通して、私たち二つのものが、一つの御霊によって御父に近づくことができるのです。
こういうわけで、あなたがたは、もはや他国人でも寄留者でもなく、聖徒たちと同じ国の民であり、神の家族なのです。
使徒たちや預言者たちという土台の上に建てられていて、キリスト・イエスご自身がその要の石です。
このキリストにあって、建物の全体が組み合わされて成長し、主にある聖なる宮となります。
あなたがたも、このキリストにあって、ともに築き上げられ、御霊によって神の御住まいとなるのです。

答： 主の晩餐も、ひとつの礼典です。そのとき、キリストの指定にしたがって、パンとぶどう酒を与え、また受けることによって、キリストの死が示されます。また、ふさわしい陪餐者が、身体的、肉的な仕方でではなく信仰によって、キリストの体と血を、キリストのあらゆる祝福もろとも分け与えられて、霊的に養われ恵みのうちに成長するのです。

問95: 洗礼は、だれに執行されるのですか。
答： 洗礼は、可見的教会の外にいる人には、キリストへの信仰と服従とを告白するまでは、だれにも執行してはなりません。しかし、可見的教会の会員の幼児は、洗礼を受けなければなりません。
