Memories from our last day of Summer Camp📸✨

Our All Camp BBQ was the prefect way to end our summer programming at UrbanPromise Toronto🌭 The last day of summer camp is always bittersweet but we're happy to celebrate the kids, leaders, and staff that made this summer amazing! The relationships built, lessons learned, and memories made won't be forgotten❤️

“I really wish there was more UrbanPromise in Toronto!" 🏙️

The Morning Star Mission Team shares their thoughts after spending a week volunteering with Camp Hope. During summer camp, we invite church mission teams to volunteer and serve alongside staff. It's one of the many ways we invite people to partner with us and be a part of the change we are making.
We were thrilled to have the Morning Star mission team join us for week two of summer camp 🩵They got to know our kids and youth and shared the gospel with them✝️ Thank you Morningstar Christian Fellowship for an amazing week of service! One week of volunteering can make a lasting impact

One of our campers captured their visit to High park where we held UrbanPromise Toronto’s annual All Camp Day! All three of UrbanPromise Toronto’s camp locations came together to celebrate what God is doing at camp and perform dances to our favourite worship songs🎶 These memories make a difference.

VIBES are how we keep the good times coming at UrbanPromise Toronto😎

Summer camp has been such an amazing success, but it didn’t happen by accident. Our Leaders did an amazing job of demonstrating what good VIBES look like to their campers. This wasn’t a small feat, so we are very proud of how they’ve shown up this summer for our kids and YMADs 👏This acronym is a great reminder that everyone plays an important part in keeping camp fun and safe for everyone!

YMAD stands for Youth Making A Difference!

One of the ways our YMADs got to make a difference in the Toronto community was by visiting the residents of Christie Gardens! 🏠 This has become a yearly tradition at Camp Hope and next year’s visit is already in the works. The youths had great conversations with the residents as they gave out handmade cards to brighten their day☀️

We had an amazing two weeks at camp partnering with Athletes in Action! ⚽️🏀🏈

At UrbanPromise Toronto, partnerships are an important part of our 20-year journey to Reach a Child, Raise a Leader, Restore Community.

The kids at UrbanPromise Toronto had a blast playing games and learning bible lessons with the coaches from Athletes in Action🏃This was a great opportunity to play hard, work together, and most importantly experience Gods love!💙
