BELIEVE THE PROMISE
-Pastor Ardison Bernardo
Have you ever thought about the promises God has for you in the Bible?
Are you excited to make them a reality in your life? Are you ready to follow Him and see what happens?
Moses did. God delivered His people from slavery just as He promised.
The first step is to trust that Jesus means what He says. Then, take that leap of faith and step into joyful obedience to His promises.
We all get it. Obedience isn’t easy. It’s inconvenient. Obedience often entails moving out of your comfort zone. True obedience can only be inspired and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Obedience isn’t getting things done our way. It’s doing the will of God His way, His time, His purpose.
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." Philippians 2:13 NIV
Some Points to Remember:
1. Obey God Daily: Keep up the good habits you've started. Obeying God should be part of your everyday life.
2. Obey Responsively : Don't hesitate when God calls you. Say "yes" to God quickly and follow His lead.
3. Obey Persistently: Even when others try to pull you away, keep following God's way.
4. Obey with Love: Always strive to do better and grow in your relationship with God.
5. Obey with Enthusiasm: Serving God should be joyful! Your excitement can inspire others to want the same joy.
6. Obey Reverently: Remember that our obedience is serious. We respect God's power and His plan for our lives.
7. Obey Sensitively: Listen closely to the Holy Spirit. God's guidance is always for our best.
8. Obey with Integrity: Be honest and true in your actions, ensuring your obedience reflects your genuine commitment to God's principles.
9. Obey in Community: Encourage and support others in their obedience, acknowledging that we are all part of the body of Christ.
10. Obey Faithfully: Believe & Trust in God's promises and be faithful in your obedience, knowing that He is always faithful to us.
God may call your attention with a burning bush, but you have the Bible Moses never had. Trust and obey what God has promised you in His Word. He is faithful and true!
PRAYER:
"Father, please restore the joy in my heart so I may believe and obey You in all things. Give me the vision and energy to share what You have entrusted to me. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen."
